Job duties and responsibilities

We are searching for a UK based results-driven Python/Django developer with excellent Javascript knowledge to support some of the brands within the business. You will be required to write and maintain code for our future and ongoing projects, contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.

The Full Stack Developer will use their skills to analyse current code, industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and also create a seamless client-side experience.

The role will be largely remote, and the right candidate will have the option of working from home if they wish to for most of their time.

We are a small but high-performing Product & Development team that has a track record of providing innovation to the business. We focus on collaboration, open and clear communication & continuous improvement.

Essential Tech

• Python 2+ years
• Django 2+ years
• REST framework
• Javascript 4+ years
• Vue.js 1+ years
• Working with Frontend APIs
• Bootstrap
• SQL server database

• Nuxt.js

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of Python, with experience in delivering applications with this technology
• Strong Javascript experience
• Excellent front-end architecture/development skills with HTML5, object-oriented CSS e.g. Less, Sass
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services
• Experience using version control (git)
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, analytical concepts to a range of client and internal audiences
• Strong attention to detail and action-oriented attitude
• Team player with strong collaborative skills
• Good organizational skills, self-starter

Responsibilities

• Writing high-quality code to develop functional web applications
• Maintaining and building new features within our Django Application including Front End Development
• Manage company websites in the Vue framework
• Maintaining and building APIs
• Troubleshooting and debugging
• Assessing and making improvements to the efficiency and speed of current applications
