Other publications that MBI publishes include Screen and Broadcast, and MBI are the organisers of the Media Production and Technology Show.  KFTV is the international product that connects professionals to a variety of production service companies and crew worldwide.

 

Key Purpose

To research, write and upload editorial content for KFTV website, bulletins and print publications

 

Key Accountabilities
  • Generate daily online B2B international film and TV news content for KFTV.com and the associated weekly and country-specific bulletins. Our editorial content includes: production activity around the world, reasons for certain productions choosing specific territories, production service provisions, new studio developments
  • Host panels, moderate webinars and live events
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide Q and A editorials for selected clients and focussed marketing emails
  • Create content for KFTV’s annual printed Production Guide.
  • Update KFTV.com filming guides and tax incentives pages for each country
  • Commission freelance writers when required to produce in-depth articles
  • Opportunity to travel to production industry events in the UK and overseas.
  • Work with sales & product development teams to drive brand growth, and contribute to the commercial success of the brands

 

Required Skills
  • A working knowledge of and interest in how films and high-end TV dramas are produced
  • A keen networker
  • Confidence to host discussion panels and moderate at festivals and events when required
  • Excellent research skills
  • Experience with a CMS
  • Strong initiative
  • Confidence to make independent editorial decisions regarding content
  • Experience of working within a larger team and co-ordinating an editorial strategy with sales goals
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise daily assignments
  • Experience of using Google Analytics to pursue editorial goals
