Job description

We are searching for a UK based analytical, results-driven C# developer to develop code and .NET solutions for our business. You will be required to design, write, and maintain C# coding for our future and ongoing projects, contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks. You will also develop MS-SQL queries and procedures and create custom reports. You will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

You will also work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Backend Developer will use their skills to analyse current codes, industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.

The role will be largely remote, and the right candidate will have the option of working from home if they wish to for most of their time.

We are a small but high-performing Product & Development team that has a track record of providing innovation to the business. We focus on collaboration, open and clear communication & continuous improvement.


Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Backend developer with the following technologies: NET MVC, C#, SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a group
  • Desirable technologies: Python 3, Django/Django Rest Framework, OData, Azure, Vue.js, Nuxt, jQuery, Bootstrap, Database design and optimisation, REST APIs

  • Writing high-quality code to develop functional web applications and data processing jobs
  • Building and maintaining web applications
  • Troubleshooting and debugging
  • Assessing the efficiency and speed of current applications
  • Collaborating with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
