Job description

Broadcast is looking for an Insights (features) editor to manage its long-form output, lead on its monthly magazine and manage its suite of major supplements. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience within B2B or consumer journalism in terms of commissioning and writing high quality interviews and rigorous articles that explore complex issues.


This is a role for an experienced and organised journalist who will take on day to day management of the glossy new Broadcast magazine and several of our most important content projects through the year: Best Places to Work in TV, the Indie Survey, the Distributors Survey, the Commissioner Survey. They will also liaise with the commercial team on projects.


Experience of contact building is essential – only through being close to the market can the Insights editor understand the issues that make our subscribers tick. Knowledge of the TV industry would be an advantage but is by no means essential, top level organisational skills, and the ability to scope out major projects and demonstrate great attention to detail.
