Starting off as a print directory more than 50 years ago, KFTV has evolved into a comprehensive online directory and information hub for the international media production community.

KFTV allows you to search for film, TV and commercials production services around the world.

Production managers, line producers, producers, art directors, location managers and other production personnel search the website for anything from studios to camera equipment and from service companies to accountants.

World of Locations

World of Locations is a print publication showcasing the world’s film, TV and commercials locations – used by production companies and professionals who want inspiration about where to film their next project.

 

Job Description

To sell web-based marketing solutions to international production services companies, film commissions, equipment rental companies and location companies into the newly relaunched KFTV.com and its related weekly bulletins. Customers are a mix of established customers and new prospects.

To sell print-based marketing solutions across the Production Guide (produced by KFTV) and World of Locations.

Most customers are overseas, trips to visit customers are undertaken throughout the year. Most trips are between 5 – 14 days.

 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Make appointments over the phone and email prior to a sales trip and plan effective use of time whilst on trip.
  • Present to customers in person, but also to engage prospective clients via phone and email.
  • Meet & exceed targets – monthly, quarterly & annually
  • Exceed activity based Key Performance Indicators
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts & manage pipeline effectively
  • Ensure details gathered from prospects are captured on CRM system, and to use the CRM system to develop leads and plan activity
  • To provide market intelligence and feedback on important market trends or any other relevant information gleaned via the sale process
  • When required to attend relevant industry events & exhibitions – possibly abroad.
  • To ensure that all verbal and written communications are of high quality.
  • To ensure that copy is supplied by clients when required
  • To provide full account management to clients.

 

 

Person Specification
  • Candidates with 3 or more years sales experience.
